Adventure Training Unit '21 & Field Day

  •   ATU poster    Mission: JROTC Adventure Training on 18 Sep 21 conducted survival technique in an outdoor environment, increase cadets’ proficiency with performing select United States Army Skill Level 1 Soldier Tasks, increase overall self-confidence in their ability to lead peers, and improve espritde-corps in the JROTC program.

        End State: Each Cadet safely trains, increase proficient in land navigation, first aid, operating a drone, and knot tying.

                      Each cadet will display strength and increases trust, cohesion, and esprit-de-corps moving forward into other JROTC events and activities.

            Keys to Success:  Identify the appropriate supervisor/trainer with training stations

                                         Create a schedule/timeline for events

                                         Conduct an one-day ATU at Capital City Alternative School

                                         Conduct an ATU without loss of limb, sight, or injury
